$10,000 Reward Offered in Fatal Shooting of Inglewood Nursing Student in Gramercy Park

Authorities are offering a reward for information in the fatal shooting of 21-year-old Lanai Dees, a nursing student from Inglewood.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Dees was shot and killed around 12:40 a.m. on November 17, 2024, while driving her white Mercedes near the 2000 block of West Century Boulevard in the Gramercy Park area. Investigators believe the shots were fired from a dark-colored SUV, striking Dees in the head.
The sheriff’s department is urging anyone with information about the shooting to come forward as the investigation continues.
