The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health announced 50 more cases of the new coronavirus.




In the South Bay region, the beach cities have four confirmed cases in Manhattan Beach and one cases in Torrance. Elsewhere in the South Bay, there is one confirmed case in Carson, one in Gardena, one in Inglewood and one in San Pedro.


While Monday numbers from the county Department of Public Health indicated there were 10 cases of coronavirus within the South Bay, Tuesday numbers indicated nine. County health officials said "case locations may be reconciled after further investigation."


The breakdown of the 145 total cases confirmed as of Tuesday afternoon is as follows:
