
Rapper Snoop Dogg, with Metro Chair and Inglewood Mayor Butts, Celebrate the Reopening of the A Line

Rapper Snoop Dogg along with Metro Chair and Inglewood Mayor James T. Butts Jr. and other Los Angeles officials took part in a press conference and reopening ceremonies today. Long Beach Native Snoop Dogg was the emcee. The A-Line ( formerly known as the Blue Line) is reopening after a 10-month closure and a $350-milliona renovation, according to Metro.
The A Line will service between downtown Los Angeles and downtown Long Beach. In a statement from Metro "On behalf of Metro, we extend a huge thank you to riders for their patience with the work, which began in late January."
Rides on the A Line will be free Saturday through Monday, Nov. 4.
