A 69-year-old man is currently in critical condition at a hospital after being discovered with severe injuries near a hotel in Inglewood. The incident occurred during the evening of October 22.
According to police reports, Abelardo Rodriguez had left his residence to visit a store around 6 p.m. However, he did not return home as expected.
Rodriguez was found lying on the sidewalk at the intersection of Imperial Highway and Prairie Ave, in front of a La Quinta hotel.
Video evidence indicates that he fell onto the pavement, landing face first. It is important to note that there was no evidence of any physical assault or beating.
